Welcome to the Kappa Tau Omega chapter website. We invite you to take a moment to connect with our chapter specifically and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated as an international organization. For 115 years, Alpha Kappa Alpha women have utilized advocacy, education, and service to uplift the nation and the globe. With a sincere commitment our international mission of Service to All Mankind, we are resolutely dedicated to responding to the evolving needs of our communities.

As we embark upon 48 years of service to Bloomington, Indiana - Monroe County, we are incredibly thankful and recognize the responsibility we have in continuing the work of our beloved charter members. Serving the community is the hallmark of our organization, and we are committed to doing just that. Our chapter includes a diverse membership - embracing sisters who call Indiana home and those who hail from other parts of the country; graduate students; professionals in a number of fields; entrepreneurs; and community leaders/organizers.

Guided by our international program initiatives, Kappa Tau Omega is committed to Strengthen our Sisterhood, Empower our Families, Build our Economic Wealth, Enhance our Environment, Advocate for Social Justice, and Uplift our Local Community through thoughtful programming and signature chapter events. Along with our sisters throughout the Central Region of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, We Are Ready to SOAR, committed to serve, and excited to be in community with you soon!
