Kappa Tau Omega Chapter
Constance Holland Memorial Scholarship
A charter member of Kappa Tau Omega, Constance Holland served the community through her involvement in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She was also an advocate of quality education for youth. She was a social science and English instructor at Bloomington High School South and was named Teacher of the Year for the state of Indiana in 1982. Constance was very involved on the international level of the sorority including serving as Parliamentarian and as a member of the Nominating Committee. Notably, Constance birthed the vision for the Educational Advancement Foundation (EAF), a hallmark of the sorority focused on supporting students as they pursue higher education. Our chapter scholarship is one way that we seek to honor Constance's love for her community and her passion for educating our youth.
